Love Fest

Big congratulations to Erin Thomas and Tony Foley who tied the knot this past weekend. I ran into Andy Boothby at Target today who gave me a sense of the event, saying that the bride was resplendent and the groom was bawling. Sounds like a true love fest. Mazel tov!

No love for the Tribe tonight; as I write this, it's the bottom of the 8th, bases are loaded and they're down 6-2. Looks like the Sox are going to pull it out; congrats to all you beantown fans... I'll be rooting for you in the series.

Dave, Andy was right - it was a love fest for sure (and Andy looked like an old pro serving up drinks at the reception!) It was one heck of a turnout, you couldn't spit without hitting someone who's been in a show in this town.

The wedding itself at the Maymont Italian Garden was just beautiful. The reception was wonderful, and the real highlight was a surprise performance by SPARC students presenting an original musical version of Erin and Tony's romance! Absolutely hilarious!

As a Longwood alum myself (class of JESUSCHRISTHASITBEENTHATLONG), it was REALLY special to see two fellow Lancers find love together. A number of other Longwood grads, along with a few of the profs from Farmville, joined in the festivities.

All joking aside, it was honestly one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended. I look forward to Tony and Erin's stories of the Italian honeymoon!
