That's a wrap

I'm glad MaryB's been keeping the conversation going over the holiday as my life has been enveloped in chaos (more on that later). Here's a link to my year-end wrap-up in Style. Check out the hardcopy version of the mag for a smashing picture of MaryB in her Arts Cheerleader garb. I look forward to any thoughts in response. Did I give an apt summary...or not? What do YOU think was most significant about this past year in Richmond theater (besides, of course, the addition of MaryB to this blog...)?

Just a point of clarification, I suppose:

The production of The Dumb Waiter that was presented in the Little Theatre was part of Brad Tuggle's "journeyman's" year with Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV. For more information see the Barksdale Buzz archives: http://thebarksdalebuzz.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html

So the space remains in its somewhat dormant state.

Many of us remain with our fingers crossed for when someday in the future we may see a regular offering of challenging works presented there again. (Sad that most of Theatre Gym's tenure was before I moved here.)

We can be hopeful.

Thanks for the wrap-up, Dave.

Provided some interesting perspective on a few things.
