I don't suck as much as I thought I did

I was afraid it was too late to mention Andrew Bonniwell and his pals (collectively known as the Night Light Collective), and their experiment in 'alternate location' theater with "The House of Yes." But it turns out that their production (being staged in a house, as seems fitting) runs tomorrow and Friday so I didn't screw up totally. Mr. Bonniwell has told me that space is very limited and I don't have direct contact info so if you are interested, you'll need to contact Andrew or someone who knows Andrew. The cast is largely made up of some very lovely Henley Street vets like Suzanne Ankrum and Kerry McGee and the under-utilized Alison Haracznak (from Sycamore Rouge's "Streetcar.")

I wish I could say "Yes" to "Yes" but school starts for me tomorrow -- yay! I seem to be the only person in my house actually looking forward to school starting...

Ooh - and don't forget Alison was a fetching Pedringano in Henley's "Spanish Tragedy"...she even looked great hung by the neck!

What a nice surprise! I was totally unaware of this venture, so thank you for spreading the word, Dave.

Best wishes to Andrew, Suzanne, Kerry and Co. Always great to see alternative approaches to theatre in town like this, not to mention people making opportunities for themselves and others.

Massive kudos and figurative broken legs to all!

Alison is amazing. I can't wait to see where she goes with her career. I've had an actor crush on her ever since we took a Psychology & Theatre class together at VCU.

Thanks for the well wishing dave and anon. But I think Suzanne, Bonnie and Kerry deserve most of the credit for making this happen. Bonnie did a great job in directing and finding a space and finding actors. Also in the show, Raven Bonniwell is a recent UR grad and another Henley Street vet(Much Ado), and Charlie Roundtree a VCU student. I think we had a great turnout. The second night of the show we had people watching through windows from the outside! I think the lovely ladies put together a great show and I am proud to have had a small part in it. (Half of my job went unfulfilled, as I was supposed to try invite/entice Dave...oh well) I wish it would have been feasible for a longer run, I think it was a good show and well recieved. This group will have more to come, maybe next time we can get a few more people and invite everyone!

Thanks for the shout out, Dave. And thanks so much to everyone that came out to see our little show. It was hot, crowded, and seating was limited, but hopefully everyone had a good time . . . with or without multiple trips to the bar :) . . .
and don't be so modest, Andrew. Night Light Collective couldn't happen without the light. (Oh, sweet sappy puns!)
